Come on January, I need more of this story and to see how the rest plays out in pages. Anyway, this book from beginning to end had me rooting for Winston and Ash and everything their story could stand for and develop into. Their parts in this story are cringe worthy and sometimes gave me the nasty goosebumps that I never want to have. It is Inkslingers’ mission to deliver writing workshops and retreats that enrich the experience and strengthen the craft of each participant while building community and keeping each writer safe in their creativity. Her brothers and step-mom, I can’t wait to see karma play out against these folks. Her bird is amazing, love this little side character. The supporting characters are a very interesting bunch. But this is part 1, so we are left with a cliffhanger I can’t wait to see how K Webster continues on with. All creatures of the North, where no one has traveled, and returned. ‘Hurles, Gorans, Blurrzydds, Quillin, Mardrul, and so on. Once finished, the boy opened his presents, and then together they read the exciting and unending stories of mythical creatures. The things he says to Ash, does to her, OMG their story is everything. On the boys catastrophic birthday night, the boy and his parents sat to eat. Winston is super alpha, and ridiculously sexy. I have been struggling to find something that pulls me in a fully engulfs me and I cannot put down. This book is emotional, erotic, passionate, suspenseful and more than anything it is simply a breath of fresh air. I am 100% new to K Webster and after Stroke of Midnight I must ask myself, what was I thinking waiting this long? Knowing nothing about this book, I went in blind and was simply stunned from cover to cover.
